We partnered with Mississippi Center for Justice to amplify their event Mississippi on the Potomac. Mississippi Center for Justice is a nonprofit, public interest law firm committed to advancing racial and economic justice.
Supported and staffed by attorneys and other professionals, the Center develops and pursues strategies to combat discrimination and poverty statewide.
Social Justice Empowerment Dinner: June 7, 2022
The Social Justice Empowerment Dinner was a high-end, dinner held in DC targeted to key strategic partners and sponsors to allow participants an opportunity to experience Mississippi history and culture, and the work of The Mississippi Center for Justice. In addition to fostering partnerships, the dinner created an empowering space for a cross-section of stakeholders to talk, bond, and collectively discuss the work they can do to effectuate change across the State.
Award Show and Reception: June 8, 2022
The Award Show and Reception was the marquee event celebrating the work of The Mississippi Center for Justice. The engaging, inspiring, and educational event highlighted the history and the achievements of Mississippi luminaries and leaders who paved the way, and the monumental work of The Mississippi Center for Justice, to dismantle Mississippi's culture of racial and social injustice.
